* Residential Class Meter Technology
The Intellix SM110* from GE is a multi-function, single phase
electronic meter for residential applications. The meter’s
advanced design is a powerful combination of accuracy,
affordability, and reliability. Offering features beyond basic energy
metrology, including time of use and load profile recording, the
SM110 is ideal for your most demanding residential metering
applications.
* Flexible Recording
The SM110 may be configured for various metering needs:
demand-only metering, demand/load profile (LP) metering, TOU
or TOU/demand metering, TOU or TOU/demand meter with load
profile metering.
* Remote Connect/Disconnect
The SM110 is available with an integrated 100 A rated relay for
remote disconnection and reconnection of supply to provide
utilities with the ability to manage situations such as changing
of tenants at a premise or management of customers that have
failed to pay required bills.
* Summations
The SM110 supports up to two summations from the following
measurements: delivered-only kWh; received-only kWh; delivered
+ received kWh; delivered/received kWh; lagging-only kvarh;
leading-only kvarh; lagging + leading kvarh; lagging/leading
kvarh; phasor apparent kVAh; and line-to-neutral voltage.
* Time Of Use
The SM110 provides up to four distinct TOU tiers, allowing timeof-
use energy and demand values to be calculated for specific
time periods, in addition to the overall energy and demand
calculations. The meter also supports up to four seasons.
Each season can have up to three day-types and one holiday
day-type. The meter can store a total of 80 distinct tier switches.
* Calendar
The SM110 includes a calendar with up to 50 programmable
dates for specifying when daylight savings time changes, season
changes, self-reads, demand resets, and holidays are to occur.
* Load Profile
The SM110 supports two channels of load profile recording with
sufficient memory to store 200 days of single channel data at
30-minute intervals.
